PageLines- glenforest1a.jpgToday’s post is the obituary of Emily Dawson.  Although her obituary states that she was buried in Glen Forest Cemetery, her name is not listed in the Greene County Ohio Cemetery Inscription Book, Volume I, published by the Greene County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society so I was not able to determine where she was buried.  Perhaps she did not have a stone or maybe it has been damaged and/or fallen over and buried over the years.  The fact that we can’t find Mrs. Dawson’s tombstone serves as a reminder to how important it is to ensure that burial records and tombstones are preserved for future generations. As published in the Yellow Springs News on November 2, 1917:
